The award was presented by Dr.Jenő KAMUTI, President of the International Fair Play Committee.

Rita has been playing table tennis for more than 25 years for Postás Sport Club and remained with the Club when it was going through an extremely difficult financial situation, despite receiving attractive offers from several German and French clubs.

The Owner-President of Újlipót Sports Club, Gábor ROSTÁS, has been the President of Postás and was managing Rita Kertai’s career as her coach, manager and club president. Rita KERTAI has been acknowledged by several Municipality Leaders, including leaders of district 14th of Budapest, where the Postás Club is located; the 13th district where Újlipót Club is located and that of Budapest, Capital of Hungary.

All of them expressed their shared opinion that Rita KERTAI is an icon of loyalty and humbleness and shows the right values for young table tennis players.
