Libertas Marinkolor is the Croatian champion for the second time

Libertas Marinkolor’s players are the new champions of Croatia. Miho SIMOVIĆ, Filip ČIPIN and Tomislav JAPEC completed the season without a mistake and achieved a maximum of 22 victories along the way.

Libertas secured the title at the end of April when they beat Dugo Selo (3: 0) in the away match, and after that they organised a celebration with their fans. In the last match of the Super League, they beat Zagreb (3: 1), after which the president of HSTS Zlatko POSPIŠ and the director of HSTS Renato Čengić handed them a cup and medals.

This is the second title in the club’s history for the club from the city of Dubrovnik, they won the first one in the 2016/17 season. For the past three seasons, the champion was Varaždin’s Starr, and now the trophy is moving to Dubrovnik again. Libertas Marinkolor also played in European competitions this season, and they almost reached the quarterfinals of the European Cup.

Srdoči and Slavonski Brod are relegated from the Super League.
