KTS Tarnobrzeg and Linz AG Froschberg progressed to the quarterfinal

In the Stage 2 of the 2021/2022 TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women in Linz Polish club KTS Tarnobrzeg was the first to book the place in the quarterfinal. The hosts Linz AG Froschberg also progressed to the next stage from the position no. two.

KTS Tarnobrzeg remained unbeaten throughout two days tournament in Austria. On the opening day HAN Ying YANG Xiaoxin and YU FU succeeded against adversaries from TTC Moravsky Krumlov and Linz AG Froschberg whilst today they beat Saint-Denis US 93 Tennis de Table. All three matches concluded with 3:0 result.

At the beginning of the day Saint-Denis US 93 Tennis de Table overcame TTC Moravsky Krumlov but they lost to Linz AG Froschberg day earlier.

Linz AG Froschberg beat TTC Moravsky Krumlov to secure their placer in the quarterfinal. Bernadett BALINT put the hosts under pressure. In the opening match she beat Sofia POCANOVA but LIU Jia was at the top of the game. LIU overcame Eliska SEDOVA in straight games before she beat BALINT to secure win in fourth match.
