1. FC Saarbrücken TT and Fakel Gazprom Orenburg moving forward in big style

In Group C and D in the TT European Champions League Men favorites are unbeaten after two days of play. 1. FC Saarbrücken TT and Fakel Gazprom Orenburg clinched two wins each.

In Group D Fakel Gazprom Orenburg justified their rankings and overcame the hosts KS Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The back bone of Orenburg success was Hugo CALDERANO once again. He overcame Marek BADOWSKI and CHUANG Chih-Yuan. Marcos FREITAS joined him with the victory over Panagiotis GIONIS.

TTC Neu-Ulm overcame SF SKK El Nino Praha so they will play against Bogoria tomorrow for the second remaining place in the quarterfinal.

Day earlier Truls MOREGARD beat Patrick FRANZISKA to show splendid form but 1. FC Saarbrücken TT proved too strong for K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo. Today Swede repeated the good performance and led Polish club into the victory against AS Pontoise Cergy. French side still cannot count on Tristan FLORE and Quentin ROBINOT their top two players. Moregrad beat Rafael CABRERA Jakub DYJAS proved too strong for Emmanuel LEBESSON and Taimu ARINOBU overcame Adrien MATTENET.

Both matches in Germany concluded by 3:0 margin. In second 1. FC Saarbrücken TT overcame Roskilde Bordtennis Btk61 3:0. In addition Darko JORGIC Patrick FRANZISKA and Tomas POLANSKY beat Jens LUNDQVIST Mikkel HINDERSSON and Allan BENTSEN in straight games.
