Novi Sad first club to book the place in the semis of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup

Serbia’s club STK Novi Sad is the first to book the place in the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup Women semifinal. Novi Sad did it after they repeated success from the beginning of the week when they beat Reus Ganxets MIRÓ 3:1 in the opening leg of the quarterfinal. They repeated the result from Novi Sad as well; only new was the appearance of Anamarija ERDELJI who played for a first time for the club in Europe Cup.

In Spain Aneta MAKSZUTI beat Sara RAMIREZ in straight games to set the course of the match (11:7 11:7 11:5). On her premiere ERDELJI was stretched to full distance in the match against Anastasia KOLISH (8:11 11:4 11:7 8:11 6:0) before she prevailed.

Svetlana BAKHTINA was the only player who scored for the hosts. She beat Tijana JOKIC 3:1 (11:6 11:9 2:11 11:9). However it did not take long before ERDELJI justify her status and overcame RAMIREZ 3:1 (6:11 11:9 11:2 12:10) to close the match.
