SHAO Jieni recovered twice from 0:2 to win her duels

French club Etival Clairefontaine ASRTT recorded victory in the opening leg of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Women’s Champions League quarterfinal in Austria. Etival Clairefontaine ASRTT beat Linz AG Froschberg 3:1.

The match started in favor of hosts. Sofia POLCANOVA overcame Camelia IACOB in straight games (11:7 11:7 11:7) without any alarm. The struggling started in the match between Margarita PESOTSKA and SHAO Jieni. Portugal’s player recovered from 2:0 in reverse to win the match with the sudden death point (4:11 8:11 11:9 13:11 6:5).

Marie MIGOT continued in same style but she needed only three games to overcame LIU Jia (11:9 13:11 11:2).

On her second exit to the table SHAO Jieni was stretched to full distance once again but she prevailed in the match against Sofia POLCANOVA (6:11 13:15 12:10 11:6 6:3)
