AS Pontoise Cergy TT won home match against USD Apuania Carrara

In France AS Pontoise Cergy TT won the opening leg of the Europe Cup quarterfinal against USD Apuania Carrara Tennistavolo. They needed full five matches.

The key player was Tristan FLORE. He beat Lubomir PISTEJ (11:8 11:8 11:1) and Mihai Razvan BOBOCICA (11:5 11:9 11:4). BOBOCICA had a good start with the victory over Esteban DORR in the opening match (11:9 12:10 8:11 6:11 6:5) but DORR recovered to win the fourth encounter against PISTEJ (11:9 11:7 11:4).

In the middle Andrea PUPPO brought Italian side second point. He overcame Thomas LAROCHE (11:7 11:7 11:5).

Previously Polish KS Dekorglass Dzialdowo won the opening leg against Solex-Consult TT Wiener Neustadt in straight matches and GV Hennebont overcame Top Spin Messina in Italy after five matches.
