KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg showed no mercy

Champions league Women reigning champions KTS Enea Siarkopol Tarnobrzeg overcame TTC Novi Sad on their way to the third title. In Poland in the return leg Tarnobrzeg once again showed no mercy.

YANG Xiaoxin beat Annamaria ERDELYI (11:9 11:6 11:6) to give her team dream start. YU Fu continued in same pace against Aneta MAKSZUTI (14:12 11:3 13:11). Elizabeta SAMARA beat Tijana JOKIC (9:11 4:11 11:4 11:7 6:3).

The last match was most exciting.

“We are very happy that we managed to reach the semi final. Tonight Tijana played amazingly. I am pleased that I recovered to win the match after being 2:0 in reverse ” said SAMARA.

In France second leg  ended in favor of Metz. French team lost the opening duel 2:3 but tonight overcame last year’s runners up and five times champions TTC Berlin eastside 3:1. Metz progressed to the semis.

SHAN Xiaona opened the match with the victory over Mariia TAILAKOVA (11:7 11:9 11:13 11:9) but then Metz took over the control. Adina DIACONU went full distance against Nina MITTELHAM before she won by death point (11:7 11:5 9:11 8:11 6:5). Pauline CHASSELIN beat Sabina SURJAN (11:6 11:8 11:5) and TAILAKOVA beat MITTELHAM in another five games thriller (7:11 4:11 12;10 11:9 6:4).
