Sweden and Lithuania best teams at the North European Table Tennis Youth Championships

Teams from 7 NETU countries fought for medals at North European Table Tennis Youth Championships 2023 in Estonia Haapsalu on June 22-25. This was last check before 2023 European Youth Championships in Gliwice Poland.

Sweden won the title in Junior and Cadet Boys also Cadet Girls Team Event whilst Lithuania succeeded in Junior Girls Team’s Event.

In the Junior Boys Singles Noa DAHLSTRÖM of Sweden clinched gold. In the final he overcame Dominykas SAMUOLIS of Denmark in five games. Peter ALESTEDT from Sweden won a bronze medal.

Lithuania’s Marija MIKALAUSKYTE won gold at Junior Girls Singles. On the pedestal were also Lukrecija JUCHNAITE also from Lithuania (silver) and Maja HANSEN from Denmark(bronze).

Olle STÅHL from Denmark overcame Lassi LEHTOLA from Finland in Cadet Boys Singles. The bronze medal went to Mark USOV from Sweden.

Cadet Girl singles won Susanne Flor WILHELMSEN from Norway. The second place was won by Betty ENGSTRÖM from Sweden the third-place winner was Smiltė from Lithuania.
