SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt won the points in France

In their opening match in Group C of the Second Stage of the Champions League Men Austria’s SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt overcame the winners of last year’s Europe Cup as well as the Europe Cup titleholders in 2019 the French team GV Hennebont TT after a long five-match battle.

All three players from Austria’s club scored: Jin UEDA defeated Alexander GILLEN who also lost to Frane KOJIC. On the other side neither of those two players could stop Vladimir SIDORENAKO. Ivor BAN also secured a victory against Takumi MATSUSHITA.

In the same group Polish Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki defeated the Czech team HB Ostrov z.s. The next match is scheduled for October 27th where we will witness a rematch of last season’s Europe Cup final as Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki faces GV Hennebont TT.
