Sokah kicks off the Europe Cup quarters

For the second time in the history of the club TTC Sokah Hoboken they have reached the quarterfinals of a European Cup tournament marking a significant achievement for the Belgian vice-champion that has consistently played in the top tier of the Superdivision in Belgium for many years.

This year Sokah initially competed in the Champions League where only a few games made the difference between advancing to the second round of the Champions League and progressing in the Europe Cup. Notably Sokah performed exceptionally well in Escala Spain winning every match and in the previous round they demonstrated their strength against Grünwettersbach from Germany. Now Sokah is gearing up for the quarterfinal match against Walter Wels. First match will be played topday at 18 CET.

In a strategic move similar to the previous round Sokah has chosen to play twice in Austria despite the challenges this may pose. The club from Antwerp is facing the absence of key players Benjamin BEROSSIER from France and Gabrielius CAMARA from the Netherlands both crucial contributors and part of the EC-21 team. Sokah is relying on the skills of Pär GERELL from Sweden who has not lost a match thus far in the Champions League and Europe Cup along with Quentin ROBINOT from France and the young Belgian player Olav KOSOLOSKY.
