SPG Felbermayr Wels won the opening leg by the narrowest of margins

The first match of the Europe Cup quarterfinal was played tonight in Austria. Belgium’s TTC SOKAH HOBOKEN was the “host ” but the first leg took place in the Vogelweide Sports Hall. Since the Belgians do not have a venue available both legs will be played in Wels.

The Austrian side won the opening leg by the narrowest of margins. Par GERELL won both on Sokah’s side while Wels’ Jiri MARTINKO Andreas LEVENKO and Maciej KOLODZIEJCZYK all secured points.

“I would say that the third match was very important where Maciek put us in the lead and definitely the last match was crucial because at 2:2 everything is open ”commented Jiri MARTINKO.

The second leg will be played on Tuesday. The winner will meet the better from the duel between El Nino Praha (CZE) and Dekorglass Dzialdowo (POL).
