Olympiacos Signs Truls MOREGARDH

Olympiacos the 17-time Greek champions have once again attracted a top world-class player. After Dimitrij OVTCHAROV of Germany concluded his season in Greece Piraeus welcomed Truls MOREGARDH of Sweden.

“I am super happy to share with you that I will play for Greek Olympiacos next season. I am happy that I will be part of the team and the organization. I hope for great success and great fun ” stated MOREGARDH who will compete at the Olympics in Paris over the next two weeks.

The Swedish player reinforces an already strong lineup that includes Tomislav PUCAR of Croatia William BERGENBLOCK of Sweden Ioannis SGOUROPOULOS Georgios STAMATOUROS and Anastasios RINIOTIS of Greece.

The club won the Europe Trophy two years ago and it is not yet decided if Olympiacos will compete in the same competition this year. In addition to their 17 championship titles they have also won 8 Cups in Greece.
