27th New Year Cup 2024 Set for December in Novi Sad

The Table Tennis Association of Vojvodina, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat of Sport and Youth, presented the 27th New Year GEWO Cup 2024. This annual event will take place from December 13 to 15, 2024, at the JP SPC “Vojvodina” in Novi Sad, located at Sutjeska 2.

Event Schedule:

  • December 13, 2024: Team Competition (Mini Cadet, Young Cadet, Cadet, and Junior Boys and Girls) – 09:00 to 19:00
  • December 14, 2024: Singles for Mini Cadets (under 10) and Cadets (under 14) – 09:00 to 19:00
  • December 15, 2024: Singles for Young Cadets (under 12) and Juniors – 09:00 to 19:00

Competition Format: Team events will feature 2-3 players per team, with matches played in groups, followed by a main draw for top teams. Singles matches are organized in group stages, advancing to a knockout format. All matches will be played to the best of five.

Categories:

  • Mini Cadets: Born 2014 or later
  • Young Cadets: Born 2012 or later
  • Cadets: Born 2010 or later
  • Juniors: Born 2006 or later

Players are eligible to compete in one category per day.

Registration: Entry forms should be sent to stsvnsad@gmail.com by December 10, 2024. The tournament draw will be held on December 11, 2024.
