23/01/2010 -The European youngsters are fighting their battles in Slovakia’s historical table tennis town of Topolcany this weekend. The town that has club founded in 1926 already saw many generations of players and biggest stars of table tennis. Moreover, like now at Europe Youth Top-10, it witnessed the creation of many long and successful careers.
The ETTU (European Table Tennis Union) is the only authority recognised by the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) for governing and developing the table tennis sport in Europe. According to the latest information, more than 4 million people are playing competition table tennis in the territory controlled by the ETTU. With its 56 Member Associations, the ETTU is the largest of the 6 Continental Table Tennis Federations recognised by the ITTF.
