Eurokids
EUROKIDS© – an exciting project of the European Table Tennis Union for the most promising girls and boys under 13 years of age from all over Europe.
The main intention is to give to highly talented young players from all Member Associations the opportunity for several joint training camps at best European training centers.
The program is scheduled for one playing season.
AIMS
- To create grounds for European young players and their coaches to upgrade their knowledge and experience in order to become future champions
- To teach the players most recent table tennis technique
- To educate players for being prepared to be coming international sports professionals
- To co-ordinate coaches’ opinions in order to establish a common program for further training
PARTICIPANTS
- ETTU Member Associations
- up to 32 Players – born in 1996, 1997 and 1998 (valid in 2009)
- up to 12 Coaches – nominated by participating Associations
- 1 Head-coach – nominated by the ETTU
CRITERIA OF PARTICIPATION
All invited national Associations may nominate their most talented players and an accompanying coach for the training camps.
National Associations should nominate only very talented players from whom a future top performance may be expected.
APPLICATION
Invited Associations shall send their written entry by the closing date as indicated in the relative Invitation Letter.
