In the first semi final game of 2014/15 Women`s European Champions League, no. 1 seed Fenerbahce beat away reigning champion TTC Berlin Eastide 3:1, as world`s no. 7 WU Yang took two points.
SHAN Xiaona beat Elisabeta SAMARA in four games of the first encounter. When Georgina POTA reached opening set against WU Yang, Turkish champion was faced with a hard task. But, the best ranked WECL player turned the game winning next three sets

Two German players met in the third clash which took five sets. Petrissa SOLJA managed to take the first very close set, but as always you need to have all the time good concentration against such good defender as IVANCAN is. After many upside-downs in first four sets, the 2011 ECH runner-easily won the latest one

Finally, Chinese WU secured important win for her side, defeating SHAN in straight games. That is for sure decent advantage for Istanbul`s club, but Berlin showed last season that is able to play good game in Turkey.

TTC Berlin Eastside – Fenerbahce 1:3
SHAN Xiaona – Elisabeta SAMARA 3:1 (11:3, 11:5, 7:11, 11:5)
Georgina POTA – WU Yang 1:3 (11:9, 9:11, 5:11, 6:11)
Petrissa SOLJA – Irene IVANCAN 2:3 (15:13, 7:11, 4:11, 11:8, 3:11)
SHAN Xiaona – WU Yang 0:3 (9:11, 7:11, 9:11)
