Valentina SABITOVA was the only player in Tagmet’s team strong enough to put adversary under pressure. In five thrilling games she beat Natalia PARTYKA. LI Qian prevailed against Anna BLAZHKO and SABITOVA, whilst HAN Ying beat Olga BARANOVA. All duels concluded in straight games.
