Title holders, Borussia Düsseldorf and 1. FC Saarbrücken TT concluded their quarterfinal duels with straight matches victories. Timo BOLL lost his opening game against Bohumil VOZICKY and he admitted that he needed time to adapt to VOZICKYs style. However, when he settled into the rhythm it was one way street for Borussia. Lars HIELSCHER put Panagiotis GIONIS under pressure in the second game, but not enough to steal that game.

In the duel between TTC indeland Jülich and 1. FC Saarbrücken, the trio of Bojan TOKIC, Tiago APOLONIA and Adrien MATTENET showed no mercy.
