Last season`s ETTU Cup finalist Zamek Tarnobrzeg is very close to Women`s European Champions League semi-final, beating away Budaorsi 2i SC 3:1 in Round 4 of Group B. HAN Ying brought two points. Polish champion now has 3-1 score, whilst actual WECL runner-up still has no victory. Zamek probably will reach semis even in case of two losses in next two rounds.

World`s no. 108, Szandra PERGEL opened well the match against JIA Jun, wining opening set, but guest won in four games. Hungarian managed to level on 9:9 in second, despite she was four points down. It showed that was very important moment of this clash. Chinese reached next two points in a row, taking that set. Guest opened third by ten consecutive points and it was clear that PERGEL stayed without concentration after close second set. JIA controlled the game in fourth set too, bringing first point to Zamek.

Triple medalist from recent 2013 LIEBHERR European Championships, HAN Ying (no. 32) made super fast win against Maria FAZEKAS. A member of German national team each set opened by several consecutive points (second 9:0) and host couldn’t follow her.

Promising Dora MADARASZ (no. 145), five times medalist from European youth championships (2009-11), overcame well experienced Renata STRBIKOVA (no. 82) in four games. Zamek`s player saved five match balls in fourth set, but host won.

HAN concluded the match against PERGEL who managed to win opening set. But in next three reached just 11 points in total. HAN now has 5-0 score in 2013/14 WECL.
