Yunior Boys’ champions are heading straight without losing the steam as 56th European Youth Championships progresses. In Ostrava, like each time from Terni 2008, French juniors dominated. Alexandre ROBINOT, Enzo ANGLES and Alexandre CASSIN easily prevailed against Denmark. Tobia RASMUSSEN streched ANGLE to full distance, but even he could not secure the point for Danish side.

France is in another quarters again and they will meet Portugal on their way to the medal rostrum. Joa GERALDO, Diogo CHEN and Jorge COSTA gave lesson to Slovakia in fast three matches. Ingemar PETER made COSTA play all five games, before Portugal left the arena in victorious way. Like year before Russia departed the scene beaten in the Round of 16. Hungary’s Nandor ECSEKI, Tamas LAKATOS and Adam SZUDI overcame their adversaries in straight matches. Hungary will meet Germany in the match for the medal. Marc RODE, Killian ORT and FLorian SCHREINER succeeded against Switzerland. Although, the win of Germany was not surprise at all, the fact that Swiss team made it to the Round of 16, was a great achievement. Lionel WEBER, Elia SCHMID and Gael VENDE came from lower division’s Group H.

Sweden’s Viktor GORMAN, Carl AHLANDER and Henrik JOHANSSON beat Turkey and they will meet Italy in next round. Alessandro BACIOCCHI, Leonardo MUTTI and Maurizio MASSARELLI accounted at Croatia.

Czech Republic suffered from another blow. Patryk ZATOWKA, Jakub DYJAS and Adrian WIECEK beat host nation. Only David REITSPIES caused their adversaries trouble. Belgium’s Martin ALLEGRO, Florent LAMBIET and Arthur BILAS beat Netherlands.
