Lausanne, host city of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as well as headquarter of 56 Sports Federations, among them the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) is happy to stage the prestigious DHS Europe Cup. This competition with a prize money of € 50.000 will bring together the best 12 men and 12 women players from Europe and will be the qualification for the LIEBHERR 2014 Men’s World Cup and 2014 Women’s World Cup.

Players finishing in the top 3 places at the DHS Europe Cup will have a guaranteed spot for the LIEBHERR 2014 Men’s World Cup and the 2014 Women’s World Cup, while the others, in order of final standing, will still have a chance to qualify based on their order of finish and their World Ranking position.

More information about the venue in Lausanne, the playing system and the time schedule will be published at the beginning of November on the website www.sttopen.ch. This is the website of the organiser, “Swiss Table Tennis Open Lausanne”, who will organize the next DHS Swiss Table Tennis Open Lausanne in 2015 while taking a break in 2014 to stage the DHS Europe Cup.
