Preparation almost complete in Luxembourg
Things are coming together very well in the stunning d’Coque venue where the 2017 LIEBHERR European Team Table Tennis Championships will take place from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th September.
42 Men’s Teams and 38 Women’s Teams will be competing in Luxembourg. Austria and Germany are here to defend their titles, Austria in the top Men’s Championship Division, Germany in the top Women’s Championship Division. Battles will also be done throughout the five-day extravaganza including in the Challenge and Standard Divisions.
Action begins on Wednesday at 10:00 am and as the stories unfold, we’ll be keeping an eye on which teams make their move towards the titles and automatic qualification for the ITTF Team World Cup in London in February 2018, as well as the teams who start to move towards the available Continental qualification places for the Liebherr World Team Table Tennis Championships in Halmstad next April 2018.
