Olympic legend Miroslav CERAR visited EYC

 European Table Tennis Union was delighted to welcome Vice-president of European Fair Play Movement Miroslav CERAR on his visit to European Youth Championships in Zagreb. After newly established award for Fair play at EYC, Olympic gymnastics legend CERAR came in Dom Sportova to see European youth in action.

 

Miroslav CERAR clinched gold in pommelhorse at the Olympics 1964 and 1968. He also won three world and nine European championships.

 

CERAR won 13 national titles and was chosen nine times as Yugoslavia’s Athlete of the Year. He was awarded the Olympic Order in Silver by the International Olympic Committee. He was member of the Slovenian Olympic Academy, the Fair Play Commission of the Slovenian Olympic Committee, and the Executive Committee of the European Fair Play Movement.
