KTS – TARNOBRZEG wants more defensive style

Polish champion and actual runner-up of ECLW signed former individual champion of Europe Viktoria PAVLOVICH

 

Actual European Champions League Women runner-up and 25 times champion of Poland, KTS – TARNOBRZEG approaches to the draw of 2016/16 ECLW with two changes in its team. Natalia PARTYKA and Mitsuki YOSHIDA left the club, while Viktoria PAVLOVICH (Byelorussia) and Andrea TODOROVIC (Serbia) signed. Long time line-up members HAN Ying and LI Qian are continuing in the selection of Coach Zbigniew NECEK.

 

Polish champion will again play in the ECLW as no. 2 seed, just behind reigning champion TTC BERLIN EASTSIDE. These two clubs met in the latest final, as German team won its third crown. Forthcoming draw will take place in Zagreb at the European Youth Championships on the 10th July.

 

Tarnobrzeg`s side will have atypical team in the upcoming season, bearing in mind that two times individual European champion Viktoria PAVLOVICH (current world`s no. 60) will be the third defensive player. She joined HAN Ying (no. 8) and LI Qian (no. 32) in the line-up. PAVLOVICH and HAN have played most exciting game at the 2013 ITTF European Championships, when German player won after full seven games (14:12, 11:5, 8:11, 1:11, 12:10, 9:11, 13:11).
