MA Long beat Byelorussian 4:1 in the final clash. Former individual European champion defeated CHUANG Chih-Yuan in the semifinal

Reigning World champion MA Long confirmed his class in the final of 2016 ITTF World Tour German Open (Super) in Berlin, beating triple European champion Vladimir SAMSONOV 4:1 (11:7, 11:6, 11:4, 10:12, 11:5). Top seed defeated all his rivals in straight games on his way to the final clash, counting his compatriot and actual Olympic champion ZHANG Jike in the semis.
