Contract for the European championships signed in Budapest

 

During the 2016 ITTF World Tour Hungarian Open the highest official of the European Table Tennis Union and Hungarian federation held important meeting. Two sides officially sealed the contract for the 2016 European Championships to be held from 18^th to 23^rd October.

 

ETTU President Ronald KRAMER and the Secretary General Richard SCRUTON signed on behalf of Continental Union, whilst Roland NÁTRÁN, the President, and Dr. Miklós STOCKER, the Secretary General of the Hungarian Table Tennis Federation signed on behalf of Hungarian side. The ceremony took place in Tüskecsarnok.

 

Roland NÁTRÁN informed the media representatives how busy year they are looking forward. The World Championships is approaching fast and the organizers are already very busy with the preparation for the greatest Continental gathering.

 

“We will do our best to be good hosts of the Championship,” said President NATRAN.

 

ETTU President Roland KRAMER mentioned:” This year the European Championship will return to one of its homes. Hungary is absolutely active and quick to act regarding table tennis. Hungarians will be really good hosts.”
