In all Chinese Taipei final, he beat CHEN Chien-An, the no.12 seed in four straight games (11-6, 11-8, 11-4, 11-3) to secure the title and to maintain ascendancy over his compatriot on the international scene.

Hong Kong’s Tie Yana won the Women’s Singles title. The no.15 seed, she upset the order of merit by beating Korea’s, YANG Haeun, the no.10 seed to arrest the title in a full distance seven games duel decided by the very narrowest of margins (11-7, 8-11, 8-11, 11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-9).

Korea’s JEON Jihee and YANG Haeun won the Women’s Doubles title. The top seeds, they accounted for Hong Kong’s JIANG Huajun and TIE Yana, the no.2 seeds, at the final hurdle to arrest the title emerging successful in a full distance five games contest (11-8, 5-11, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5).

They repeated the form they displayed last year when they collected for Women’s Doubles titles on the GAC Group 2015 ITTF World Tour. Notably they won in Croatia, Bulgaria, the CzechRepublic and Argentina.

Chinese Taipei’s CHUANG Chih-Yuan partnering HUANG Sheng-Sheng, won the Men’s Doubles title in Budapest. The no.2 seeds, at the final hurdle they beat the Belgian combination of Robin DEVOS and Cédric NUYTINCK (11-7, 11-2, 2-11, 11-7) to secure the top prize.

For Robin DEVOS and Cédric NUYTINCK it was their second appearance in an ITTF World Tour Men’s Doubles final. At the GAC Group 2015 ITTF World Tour Philippines Open they had clinched gold beating Japan’s Hokuto KORIYAMA and Kenta TAZOE in the final.
