In the TTCLM Round 2 of Group B, Austrian side won 3:0

It looks like an easy job, but it is not: Wienviertel Niederosterreich – UMMC Verkhnaya Pyshma 3:0. The 2008 TTCLM champion beat at home the 2012 finalist in the Round 2 of Group B, after nine out of 12 sets played by a narrow margin.

Like UMMC Coach Tatiana KUTERGINA announced a couple days ago, Russian club traveled to Austria without its best player Jun MIZUTANI. Without him that was mission impossible for them.

Former UMMC player HOU Yingchao overcame Zoran PRIMORAC in close four games of the opening match. In the second, Alexander SHIBAEV had a good chance to level the score, having 2:0, 8:4 lead, but Stefan FEGERL managed to survive and continued much self-assured. Fourth set was also exciting, while host took the last one smoothly.

Daniel HABESOHN, who together with Stefan FEGERL (and Chartres` Robert GARDOS) took Team gold medal at the recent 2015 LIEBHERR ITTF European Championships, defeated Grigory VLASOV in the last encounter. That match took three sets, but all were decided in the thrilling ending.
