From Thursday to Sunday four ECLW matches will be held, as two title pretenders will meet tomorrow: Linz – Zamek (October 8th, 18:00 CET)

There is no time for the rest: top players of the Old Continent must to switch from the recent 2015 LIEBHERR ITTF European Championships to ECLW which will be continued by the Round 2 from Thursday to Sunday. Each of these four days one game will be held, starting from the Group D encounter between two title pretenders: Linz – Zamek (October 8th, 18:00 CET).

The top seed and double ECLW champion TTC Berlin Eastside travels to Turkey to face ECLW newcomer Bursa. Berlin`s Coach Irina PALINA speaks:

„All the players from both teams took part in the European Championship in Ekaterinburg. It is very important that SHAN, SOLJA and POTA a few days could be switched with both positive and negative emotions left over from the Championship. I hope that the injuries during the Championship will not prevent fight against a strong opponent.”

In the Group B the 2012 ECLW runner-up SVNO STROCK will try to inscribe second win in a row. WSA Women Head Coach Neven CEGNAR explaines:

„After our victory against Cartagena (3:0) our team will play in its best possible line-up, lead by well experienced international player from Japan Sayaka HIRANO. Our opponent Szekszard has players with a lot experience, but we want to impose ourselves as favorites for the quarter-final place. I believe that we`ll be able to show again high quality game, as well as present our further individual and team improvement. All our players – Sayaka HIRANO, Tatiana BILENKO, Matilda EKHOLM, Lea RAKOVAC, Tamolwan KHETKHUAN, Marie MIGOT and ZHANG Lily, lead by Coach Tamara BOROS will give their best for the new confirmation of our ambition in the ECLW. We are looking forward to new challenge in Hungary."

Defending champion Fenerbahce is determined to repeat 2014/15 perfect score (10-0) but it will be a very hard challenge. Istanbul`s side goes to Metz this Friday, as manager Gürhan YALDIZ announces big fight, hoping that new individual European champion Elizabeta SAMARA will continue her winning streak in ECLW:

„Our players were very successful in 2015 LIEBHERR ITTF ECH, accomplishing very good results and reaching medals. New crowned European champion SAMARA, our member in the last five years, showed that she is in a good form. We would like to win in 2nd Round aiming quarter-final spot. Metz is very strong and very experienced team, they have very good and strong players. We know very well each other . They always have good results at home, but we did not lose since last season. I think it will be good and difficult match.
