Alexandru MANOLE shined in front of the home crowd

Konstantin CHERNOV beat KLEIN

Host representative Alexandru MANOLE created the top rate upset in the morning session on the second day of the play at the 2015 ROMSTAL European Youth Top 10 in Buzau. In the Fourth round he overcame Alexandre CASSIN of France. It was only the biging of the very bad day for the top seed.

“I think that my service game was at top level today. I attacked CASSIN very strong. I also think he was not at his best today,” MANOLE showed modesty.

For Alexandru it was the first victory at the tournament.

“I lost against all three adversaries on the first day, but I played very good. I am not happy with the result, but I gave my best efforts,” said MANOLE.

France did not wait very long to have its revenge. In the next round Romain RUIZ beat MANOLE to secure the third victory from five matches. However at the very same round the agony of top seed CASSIN continued. He lost another full distance duel against Bence MAJOROS of Hungary.

There are no more unbeaten players in the Event; Germany’s Dennis KLEIN suffered by the hands of Russia’s Konstantin CHERNOV it was his first defeat in the fifth round.

Due medical reasons Can AKKUZU of France, seeded at the position no. two, was forced to withdraw.
