First half of the TTCLM group stage is finished, as just two clubs remain undefeated: Eslovs AI Bordtennis in Group C and Chartres AS TT in Group D. Same groups also have two clubs which still wait for their first victories and both are from Poland: KTS Energa-Menikin Torun (C) and Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

In Group A all teams are continuing with a chances to reach quarter-finals (first two place from each groups). Reigning champion Orenburg and Walter Wels has 2-1 score, while Saarbrucken and Angers won one match each. Walter Wels newcomer Yuya OSHIMA shook up this group by winning all his encounters in first two rounds (above all he beat OVTCHAROV and SAMSONOV). Japanese now has 4-1 individual score, because he lost by Saarbrucken`s Bojan TOKIC in Round 3.

Group B leaders are the 2008 TTCLM winner Niederosterreich and 2012 runner-up UMMC (both 2-1), while Olimpia Unia and Hennebont have 1-2. The best player of Russian club, Japanese Jun MIZUTANI remains unbeaten (4-0) while former UMMC`s member HOU Yingchao (Niederosterreich) has 4-1 score.

Actual ETYU Cup champion, Eslovs AI Bordtennis continues its successes in the ongoing season, having 3-0 score in Group C. In the latest round they managed to beat away the 2014 TTCLM winners AS Pontoise Cergy. Their Chinese XU Hui tops individual TTCLM list after first three rounds, having 5-0 score. Second placed Werder Bremen Bastian keeps good chances thanks to Bastian STEGER (5-1), while the silver medalist from recent 2015 LIEBHERR ITTF European Championships Marcos FREITAS (3-3) played below his level so far.

Group D, who reunited Chartres, Borussia and Bogoria second time in the last three seasons, currently has two favorites on the top: Chartres (3-0) and Borussia (2-1). Like in last few seasons, German side has problem with injuries (ACHANTA, BOLL) thus they played last two rounds without Timo BOLL. Chartres GAO Ning (3-3) is not on his usual level, but Robert GARDOS (3-0) leads his side like he did in Austrian national team few weeks ago during 2015 European Championships.
