Ten times European Champions League winners confirms its class

Alongside Borussia two more 2015/16 TTCLM quarter-finalist are decided after tonight`s matches: Saarbrucken and Pontoise. German star Timo BOLL returns after three months

 

The group stage of the 2015/16 TTCLM are concluded with the Round 6: Saarbrucken – Walter Wels 3:1, Angers – Orenburg 3:0, UMMC – Olimpia Unia 2:3, Niederosterreich – Hennebont 3:0, Eslovs – Pontoise 1:3, Energa Manekin – Werder Bremen 1:3, Chartres – Bogoria 3:0, STEN Ostrov – Borussia 2:3. The TTCLM quarter-finalists are Orenburg, Saarbrucken, UMMC, Olimpia Unia, Eslovs, Pontoise, Chartres and Borussia. Angers, Niederosterreich, Werder Bremen and STEN Ostrov will join ETTU Cup quarter-finals.

 

Saarbrucken follows Orenburg in the Group A, after 3:1 home win against Walter Wels. Tiago APOLINIA played excellent making two points for his side. French Angers beat reigning TTCLM champion Orenburg 3:0 to secure ETTU Cup quarter-finals, but Vladimir SAMSONOV was absent while Jens LUNDQVIST won his game against Dimitrij OVTCHAROV 3:0 w. o.

 

Olimpia Unia beat away UMMC 3:2 in the clash for the top spot of Group B. Both teams earlier booked their places in the quarter-finals. Yoshida KAAI was a hero of Polish side, as he beat his compatriot Jun MIZUTANI and Alexander SHIBAEV. WANG Yang defeated tall Russian playing the last fifth encounter. The 2008 TTCLM winner Wienviertel Niederosterreich overcame Hennebont 3:1 and finished on the third spot.

 

The 2014 TTCLM champion Pontoise defeated Eslovs 3:1, thanks to Marcos FREIRAS who beat Robert SVENSSON and XU Hui. Tristan FLORE added one more victory for guest side, as he prevailed against Mattias OVERSJO. These two clubs will play in the 2015/16 TTCLM quarter-finals, while Werder Bremen enters ETTU Cup.

 

Finally, in the Group D, ten times European Champion league winners, Borussia confirmed its class, as it won 3:2 in front of sold out hall at Ostrov. Timo BOLL played his first match since he underwent surgery in September, and he lost from Tomas TREGLER. Panagiotis GIONIS has brought two points for German club and Patrick FRANZISKA added one more. The 2013 runner-up Chartres finished group stage with all six wins after 3:0 victory against Bogoria.
