RFETM receives Olympic Sports Merit Badge

For the first time Spanish Table Tennis Association have received this type of reward by a large institution such as the Spanish Olympic Committee

 

The Spanish Table Tennis Association has received the Olympic Sports Merit Badge 2015, granted by the Executive Committee of the Spanish Olympic Committee. The highest Spanish Olympic institution granted this distinction „in recognition of his important work and contribution to the sport.”

 

For the first time RFETM have received this type of reward and recognition granted by a large institution such as the Spanish Olympic Committee with the values it represents.

 

RFETM president, Miguel Angel MACHADO, received from the president of Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), Alejandro BLANCO, and Vice-President of the COE, Jose Maria ODRIOZOLA, the plate in Madrid in the 10th Gala Spanish Olympic Committee held in COE headquarters, and it was broadcast live on RTVE.

 

„I feel very satisfied and happy about this recognition of the Spanish Olympic Committee. It is an honor for me as president of the RFETM and for all our staff, and receiving this award encourages us to continue working on large projects we have underway, and on future national and international events”, stated RFETM president, Miguel Angel MACHADO.
