16th Raiffeisen Youth Championships Linz - Austria 2016 & Upper-Austria Challenge Trophy

The 16th Raiffeisen Youth Championships Linz - Austria 2016 & Upper-Austria Challenge Trophy will be held in Tips Arena from 25th to 28th March 2016. It is International team & individual tournament for players under 11 to under 18 and it is open for national, province, regional teams and clubs.

There are four Teams Events for Boys and Girls each: Mini Cadet Team (born 2005 and younger), Younger Cadet Team (born 2003 and younger), Cadet Team (born 2001 and younger) and Junior Team (born 1998 and younger) and four categories in Singles Events for boys and girls.

System of play: for all Team Categories - Corbillon Cup System (a-x, b-y, double, a-y, b-x) 2 Participants. For Team Events first stage will be played in groups (3 to 4 teams) and from second phase the winner or two best players in the group are qualified for the RAIFFEISEN Championships Trophy; the others will participate in the RAIFFEISEN Challenge Trophy, which is a separate and full event. From the second round it will be played in groups and / or KO system, depending on the number of participants. All places will be determined. With this system it should be guaranteed that weaker participants can play enough matches. Prices for this event will be awarded as well. All games and matches will be played best of 5.
