Team work of the reigning ECLW champion

Fenerbahce beat at home Postas 3:2 in the Round 1 of Group C. LI Jiao easily brought two points to Hungarian side

 

Reigning ECLW champion Fenerbahce had a hard job in the beginning of the new season, but prevailed against Postas 3:2, playing on front of its fans at Istanbul`s Ulker Arena Energy Hall. Double individual European champion LI Jiao from Netherlands caused a big problem for the host side, but after all team work was decisive.

Elizabeta SAMARA defeated Krisztina AMBRUS in straight games of the opening encounter. LIJiao leveled against Irene IVANCAN, as just third set was close.

Yana NOSKOVA brought new lead for the Turkish champion, defeating Mercedesz NAGYVARADI in four sets.

Two best ranked players met in the fourth match and again well experienced Dutch Woman easily get her opponent: SAMARA – LI 0:3 (8:11, 8:11, 5:11). In the same way IVANCAN overcame AMBRUS to secure victory for the defending ECLW champion who had a perfect 10-0 score in the latest season.
