About ETTU

According to the latest information, more than 4 million people are playing competition table tennis in the territory controlled by the ETTU. With its 56 Member Associations, the ETTU is the largest of the 6 Continental Table Tennis Federations recognised by the ITTF. 

The ETTU is organising on a regularly basis following competitions:

- EUROPEAN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (EC)
  (Starting 2008, organised yearly in October, with team, single and double events)

- EUROPEAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS (EYC)
  (Yearly in July, for Junior and Cadet players, with team, single and double events)

- EUROPEAN VETERANS CHAMPIONSHIPS (EVC)
  (Every odd year in May to June, with single and double events in 8 different age
  categories: 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and over 85)

- EUROPEAN NATIONS LEAGUE (ENL)
  (The European Nations League will be started in 2009 and will be played over a period of 4 years)

- OLYMPIC GAMES QUALIFIYING TOURNAMENT (OGQ)
  (Every four years in March or April, during each Olympic year)

- EUROPE TOP-12 TOURNAMENT (TOP-12)
  (Yearly in February, for the highest ranked European senior players)

- EUROPE YOUTH TOP-10 TOURNAMENT (TOP-10)
  (Yearly in January, for the highest ranked European Junior players)

- EUROPEAN SUPER CUP (ESC)
  (Yearly in the last quarter year, for the eight highest ranked European men’s senior players)

- EUROPE-ASIA ALL STARS SERIES
  (starting in 2009, the event will take place twice per year, one in Asia, one in Europe)

- EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MEN (ECLM)
  (Per season, for the highest ranked European Men’s club teams)

- EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WOMEN (ECLW)
  (Per season, for the highest ranked European Women’s club teams)

- ETTU CUP (ETC)
  (Per season, for the best European Men’s and Women’s club teams not entitled to participate in the ECL)
