German Girls clinched the title

What the older teammates missed, German cadets reached. Girls from the team of Germany clinched gold at the STRÖCK European Youth Championships. In the final they overcame Romania.

In the opening match of the final Alena LEMMER was two games to null in advance, but Adina DIACONU recovered to win next two sets. She had 9:0, before sealed the duel at 11:2.

Germany recovered from the almost lost match again when Yuan WAN overcame Andreea CLAPA. YUAN was two games down and eventually won three next games.

In Doubles we saw less drama then in previous matches and Germany secured gold.

Russia’s Dasha CHERNOVA, Maria MALANINA beat French team in the match for a third position. For France had played Roza SOPOSKI and Marion CHOMIS. French side failed to post single victory.
